Delete a Workspace

Deleting a BMC FootPrints Service Core Workspace can consists of up to three steps:

Deleting the Workspace from the BMC FootPrints Service Core system
Deleting the database for that Workspace
Deleting users who are members of only that Workspace

Deleting a Workspace from BMC FootPrints Service Core removes the Workspace but not the data. To delete the actual database, you must remove it from the host computer (outside of BMC FootPrints Service Core). Before deleting the Workspace, BMC FootPrints Service Core displays where the data for that Workspace is stored and how to delete it.

You may also delete users when you delete a Workspace. In addition, if there are any BMC FootPrints Service Core users who are members of only the deleted Workspace, BMC FootPrints Service Core allows you delete them at the same time as the Workspace.

To delete a FootPrints Service Core Workspace:

Select the Workspace name from the drop-down list labeled Delete Workspace.
Click GO. A page is displayed describing where the database is located and which users may be deleted.
Select which, if any, users to delete and click GO on this page. The Workspace and any selected users are removed from BMC FootPrints Service Core.
